Hello friends!
I am teaching a public weekly yoga class right here in Harvard square on Tuesday evenings. Affordable, cheap, inexpensive–call it what you like, but these are awesome yoga classes right where you live at a great price.
Quality yoga; affordable price. What more could you want?

What:
Vinyasa yoga
Alignment-based vinyasa. Focused alignment and awareness meld into a playful, challenging fun class connecting body, breath, and mind. Smart, intelligent sequencing; experienced teaching. Expect to sweat and be challenged, but stay safe and accessible. Beginners to yoga welcome. (See testimonials page for reviews from students who have been new.)

The Democracy Center is the white building on the corner next to Tommy’s Convenience and Daedalus, between Harvard’s Quincy and Adams dining halls.
This is a block and a half from the Harvard Square Bookstore on Mass Ave; walk down Plympton St. towards the river and turn left on Mt. Auburn Street.
Parking: Metered street parking available on Mt. Auburn St, Plympton, Dewolfe, and others.
Why:
Because yoga is awesome. Commit to your New Year’s resolution or just come to get healthy and feel good in your body and mind.
People do yoga to:

- increase flexibility,
- get a workout,
- cross-train,
- increase energy,
- improve focus,
- sleep better,
- destress,
- relax,
- and calm and clear the mind.
Come to work your body; leave clearing your mind.
Who:
No need to already be flexible; no need to already be strong; no need to already be “zen”. Yoga will meet you where you are and help you move where you want to go.
This is a non-dogmatic class. No dharma bullshit or esoteric stuff.
Especially if you’ve been curious about yoga, but have never had the opportunity, I invite you to come try it out. Just show up on Tuesday evenings, no preregistration required. Feel free to bring a friend. Hope to see you there!

Bethania Bacigalupe has taught yoga in Harvard square for over two years. She loves both a challenging intelligently designed yoga class and the full relaxation brought on by a yummy restorative or yin class. Academically, she is a bit of an anatomy & neuro nerd. These two loves and interests influence her teaching. She is delighted to bring yoga to more students and members of the Cambridge community and hopes you’ll join join her in these classes.
