isPermaLink="false">http://yogainthesky.com/?p=3406#comment-2636</guid> <description>love this post bethania. cool sketch. it sent me running to my anatomy books and workshoping my own humerous/ulna/radius intersection, while drinking my first cup of tea for the day.i pulled out Netter, plates 407-409.i have been exploring radial rotation for a few years now. the way my bony body is, is that when i turn my palm down, i have to give up some outer rotation of the upper arm (gleno-humeral). if I keep enough outer rotation in the upper arm to satisfy the &quot;correct&quot; DFD shoulder, then my palm/lower arms simply cannot pronate enough. so it&#039;s a give and take, strong dual action, which has been awesome to work with once i figured it out.have you done shoulder (humerous/scapula with clavicle, too) exploration while in handstand. for me, i&#039;m pretty sure because of the amount of flexion my arm is able to do -- before the scapula gets involved and maxes out on the back ribs and then if i want to get my arms &quot;straight&quot; the rib cage gets involved, thus creating pushing the ribs forward and consequent low back arch -- is the reason why hand stand is so challenging for me and i&#039;ll always be at the wall. which is fine. i love walls!without being in a room with you and having some fun together, i imagine it could be quite likely that your radioulnar structure is a valid reason why arm balances are a challenge.you must know Paul Grilley and his bones? http://bit.ly/aDjLCD sadly, he doesn&#039;t have humerus, radius or ulna bones.thank you!
